PDIC thru its BAC invites interested bidders to bid for the project below:

Insurance Scheme Cost-Plus
No requirement for revolving fund
Ceiling for:
 Administrative Fee - 20% of the actual utilization
 Membership Fee - P250.00 per member
Approved Budget for the Contract P 23,200,000.00
Source of Funding 2011 Corporate Budget
Contract Period One (1) Year
Minimum Requirements The bidder must:
  1. have at least three (3) years experience in the business handling Cost-Plus scheme or Third Party Administration (TPA) mode of health insurance and with at least ten (10) existing corporate clients.

  2. be in good standing with the following tertiary hospitals in NCR: Asian Hospital, Makati Medical Center, St. Luke’s Medical Center, The Medical City, Cardinal Santos Medical Center, Manila Doctor’s Hospital, and Capitol Medical Center.

  3. have an affiliated hospital in highly urbanized cities in the Philippines using an attached list as reference

The eligibility screening of bidders, evaluation of bids and awarding of contract shall be governed by Republic Act No. 9184 (RA 9184) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).

Criteria for eligibility check, examination and evaluation of bids and post-qualification shall be on a non-discretionary pass/fail basis.

Only bidding documents actually issued and purchased from PDIC shall be the bases for acceptance of bids (RA No. 9184 - IRR Sec. 17.4). Only those who have purchased the bidding documents shall be allowed to participate in the Pre-Bid Conference and raise or submit written queries or clarifications.

PDIC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bid proposals, or declare the bidding a failure, or not award the contract, or suspend or cancel this procurement project at any time. PDIC makes no assurance that a contract shall be entered into as a result of this invitation. Furthermore, PDIC assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of bid.

PDIC shall in no case be held responsible or liable for any and all costs associated with the bidders’ participation in the bidding process regardless of its results.
